Beyond just sounding cool, “AhaPlay” is a name born from two core beliefs passionately shared by our founders.

The journey of growth is best travelled when the path itself is a source of joy.

As social beings, we find joy in shared experiences. The "Play" in our brand symbolises turning everyday activities into a creative and collaborative playground, making even mundane tasks sources of delight and engagement.

So, at its heart, AhaPlay is all about this beautiful synergy. It's about embarking on a journey of self-discovery through the joy of playing with others.

Stavros Stavru, Ph.d.

Stavros Stavru, holding a doctorate in organisational transformations and a notable figure in organisational behaviour consulting, brings a valuable blend of scientific rigour and practical experience. This unique combination is crucial in crafting the value AhaPlay delivers.

Ivan Mitov

Ivan Mitov, driven by his passion for developing impactful products has led the digital transformation of multi-billion dollar companies across Europe, UAE and West Africa. With a track record of leading startups to top rankings in Apple and Google app stores and garnering various innovation awards, he continues to turn innovative ideas into reality at AhaPlay.

Stefan Grigorov

Stefan Grigorov, starting from the ground up, has built a globally acclaimed bespoke software development company. Navigating all the growth challenges of scaling a business, he brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to fast-track AhaPlay's path to success.

A bit about us

Stefan and Stavros formed a university band where Stefan led on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Stavros excelled in solo guitar. They played hits from bands like Coldplay and The Cure, and even wrote their own songs.

Do you know about "Multiglyphs"? It's a riveting series of five books by Stavros on creative thinking. Reflecting AhaPlay's philosophy, these books encourage exploring new viewpoints and uncovering hidden depths of meaning.

Stavros also created Caringers, a digital platform aiming to enrich primary students' social-emotional intelligence, ecological awareness, and character development, shaping them into "Caring-Ers" – people who care.

Ivan and Stavros both independently earned the prestigious "John Atanasoff Award" for their socially impactful projects, with Stavros receiving it in 2014 and Ivan in 2016? Quite a coincidence!

Iliya Idakiev has earned the Google Developer Expert title, a recognition from Google itself for his leadership in their technologies. He has played a significant role in enhancing developer and startup ecosystems focused on Google's products and platforms.

Ivan developed "Citizens - Empowering local heroes!", a social networking platform aimed at tackling community issues. Boasting hundreds of thousands of monthly users, it's a key tool in transforming urban environments into better living spaces.

Ivan and Iliya previously teamed up on another venture. They established a successful hosting company offering shared storage and maintenance services to businesses and offices.

In 2021, Stefan participated in the TV reality competition "The Farm" with a noble intent. He aimed to raise awareness and spark conversations about finding resolutions to society's challenges through mutual understanding and empathy.

Stefan and Ivan collaborated to create a product hub that provides financial support and expert guidance to product startups in their early stages. This collaboration led them to work with founders on a diverse array of projects across various industries.

Vision

We envision a society equipped to unite and agree on key world-shaping issues. Why is this so vital?

We're convinced that many of the global issues, from wars to environmental crises, stem from unresolved disagreements and the inability to reach consensus. And resolving these misunderstandings, often caused by communication barriers and personal or cultural biases, demands elevated self-awareness and social-emotional intelligence.

Mission

In an ideal society, consensus is a common achievement. AhaPlay strives to provide everyone with the tools for engaging in meaningful dialogue, ensuring self and mutual understanding, where the most impactful ideas prevail over power.

How do we do that? By transforming traditional learning into a never-ending journey of self-discovery that scales.
