Agile or Chaotic?
The story: They were both in agile mode, high-fiving about it. Then he changed the entire plan in a single morning. She pushed back — agility isn't chaos. He said isn't it about flexibility? Both were wearing the same badge. Neither was working from the same definition.
What it means for organisations: Methodology labels are some of the most dangerous sources of false alignment in organisations. When everyone adopts the label without agreeing on what it means in practice, the methodology becomes a permission slip each person interprets for themselves.
